Hey there, I’m JohnnyBoy and today I’m gonna show you how Golem can work really well with Inferno Dragon. This might be the first time I played with this combo. And it turns out to be perfect. At the same time, we have a solid strong stone in front row and greatest damage dealer with burst damage, Golem and Inferno Dragon.
We definitely have to pick one area dealer. And that’s gonna be Witch. Golem Witch combo is one of best popular combo and Witch is remarkable in covering tanker such as Golem.
Guys, in arena 10, you’ll most likely find Pekka deck, especially in this current meta. Inferno Dragon might be a problem solving for that. As the dragon is anti-tanker, you can leash the Dragon to fight Pekka.

Bats is an excellent counter for Electro. And similar to Witch, Bats can diminish all Skeleton Army so easily. Skeleton Army is a great disaster for Inferno Dragon guys, and to prevent unexpected distraction, we need Witch or Bats to support Golem Inferno Dragon.
Next, we have Guards. This is getting popular nowadays because it got buffed recently. This is no.1 defender of this deck. The shield would hold first crash of any destructive spell and charge troops damage.
So, if you face against Prince or Bandit, you can hold them by sending Guards, then you can send another troops to support defense. Sometimes, we won’t predict when the enemy deploys charge troops on the bridge.
In this deck, if we don’t have Guards instead you defend with other troops without shield, that troop won’t survive.
Next, we have Poison. This spell is important and I highly recommend you to pick up Poison as area support. You would possibly meet Minion Horde. And one group Horde would shut Golem and Inferno pretty easily.

To prevent that, we should always have Poison in countering. You can put Poison reaching the tower area as well so you can get extra tower damage.
Another spell is Zap. This would be minor card, and it won’t affect the game so significantly. But, somehow you really need 2 elixir spell to kill Bats, Skeleton Army, Goblin Gang.

Just hold till 2x elixir then you can go on real counter with Golem and Inferno Dragon.
How to defend?
In defense, we have Guards as the first card that I mostly launch first. While Guards hold any first crash, you deploy Bats if they are light troops or swarmy. And Inferno Dragon if you fight high HP troops.
The key of defense is on Guards, the rest defenders would be depending on what troops come to your lane.
Defend with Inferno Dragon and Witch is clever move
You can play Poison and Zap for defense too. These spells are not necessarily used to support counter.
What to do in late game?
If you have Golem at 1:30 time left, as what I usually do, you’ll be able to have extra support on countering.
After Golem, immediately deploy Inferno Dragon behind the stone. These 2 cards are launched before you enter 2x elixir. In 2 elixir, you probably already in enemy’s lane. This is the time to deploy Poison and Witch on the bridge.
This counter would be anti Electro, awesome
Now, you have everything you need in countering. Just wait and see how the enemy defends against this counter.
Go defense again and since this is 2x elixir, you can flexibly deploy any card to give extra defense.

So, for today’s series, the card that we will talk about is the card that I think one of the most popular cards un the game. They are very familiar to me anyway. So, the card that we will discuss right now is called the Inferno Dragon!
The Inferno Dragon is one of the legendary cards in the game. Yes, mate, he is a legendary card. The card itself can be found and unlocked as soon as you entering the arena 4 (P.E.K.K.A’s Playhouse). I don’t know what is the relationship between him and the beast P.E.K.K.A anyway.
From what he appears to be, he is more likely the same as Baby Dragon but the difference is he has this kind of mask protecting his face.
He also has this kind of barrel on his back where he carries it wherever he goes. We still don’t know what is in the barrel, but we bet it is likely to fuel where he uses it to launch his “attack”. He still looks cute anyway.
His “attack” is very special compared to the other cards. Compare to his brother, the fire that produced by the Inferno Dragon is more dangerous. The fire that produced by him even can destroy a tower in seconds since the fire that burns is much hotter than what Baby Dragon produced.

The fire that spewed by the Inferno Dragon is somehow the same as what Inferno Tower produce. So it is very dangerous just by imagining it. Not only can destroy a tower just by himself, the Inferno Dragon can kill almost every troop on the battlefield even the most stronger cards like Tanks.
He can easily dismiss Giant or even a tank card, for example, the Giant skeleton just by vomiting his fire into them. Yap. It is very effective to use him dismissing the high hitpoints troops.

The other unique of the fire that he produces is the fire has 3 tiers of heat. The tier 1 the damage deals 9% for the first two seconds, the tier 2 also for two seconds it produces 20% damage and the last one the tier 3 will deal every of your enemy’s troops with 100% damage. And once it happened then it will burn everything without any exception.
The other funny option to use the Inferno Dragon is to pair him with his brother Baby Dragon. By pairing them with a team of course it will make your air troops is very dangerous as they will cover each other and double the damage effect to your enemy’s troops.
Not only with his brother baby dragon, to combine him with a Mega Minion would be effective as the Mega Minion could cover the Inferno Dragon as the Mega Minion would not be dismissed easily.
The double trouble
But like other cards, it doesn’t make the Inferno Dragon doesn’t have weaknesses. The Inferno Dragon is a very one targeting card, so if the targets and attacks one kind of his enemy than he will not move until it is dismissed. So once he is attacking a troop then he will be vulnerable to attack by the other troops.
After attacking or dismissing a troop then it will also take more time to re-target the other troops. The other weakness of the Inferno Dragon is he is a slow-moving card compare to the other air forces or even to his brother.
There are certain cards that will be effective to counter the Inferno Dragon. To use the swarm air army like minion horde could do it as the Inferno Dragon can’t attack them at once. The other is to use the Inferno Tower as the tower could easily dismiss him.
Easily dismissed by minions once he is distracted
The other way is to distract the Inferno Dragon. You can use the Goblins or Skeletons to distract or just slow him down, then use another card to get rid of him.
The legendary Inferno Dragon itself will cost 4 your elixirs, by looking at his power and all of his unique I think the Inferno Dragon could easily make a space in your deck once you are able to get him.
